The Pan American Taekwondo Union (PATU) has just officially announced the criteria and list of wild cards awarded for the 2025 cycle, which grant direct, non-transferable spots for the 2026 Pan American Senior Championships (G4), to be held in Brazil.
This initiative aims to recognize the outstanding performance of athletes at major continental events and to strengthen their preparation for the upcoming continental championship.
The following athletes have been awarded a NOMINAL Wild Card (personal and non-transferable) to participate in the event:
- Pan Am Series II – Peru
→ 1st and 2nd place in each category and weight division. - Pan Am Series III – Cuba
→ 1st and 2nd place in each category and weight division. - 2025 Rio Open
→ 1st place. - 2025 President's Cup of the Americas
→ 1st and 2nd place in each category and weight division. - 2025 Olympic Dreams Championship – Chile
→ 1st place. - 2025 Pan American Junior Championships in Asunción
→ All athletes who have qualified for and participated in this event. - Pan Am Series IV – Querétaro 2025
→ The top 8 finishers in each category and weight division.
Important: Wild Cards are non-transferable and are assigned exclusively to the winning or qualifying athlete; they may NOT be transferred under any circumstances.
Registration for the 2026 Pan American Senior Championships (G4) will be conducted exclusively through the Simply Compete (GMS) platform.
